Allison Troy

Allison Troy is the research director at Faunalytics. She received her PhD in social psychology from the University of Denver, where she studied human emotion, emotion regulation, and resilience to stress. She has authored dozens of scientific publications and presentations that directly informed psychological health interventions. After leaving academia, Allison spent several years working to support grassroots political organizing in the United States. She oversaw polling and message testing research that were used to produce messaging guides, advocacy trainings, and digital resources that have been used to support thousands of advocates across the country. In her role at Faunalytics, Allison is thrilled to bring her passion for research, writing, and community organizing to support the incredible animal advocacy efforts taking place across the globe.
