Tess Vickery is a commercial and class actions lawyer turned animal law specialist from Sydney, Australia. She has a Masters of Animal Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, and is currently working as Policy Advisor to the Hon. Emma Hurst MLC, a politician representing the Australian Animal Justice Party. Tess has published multiple academic articles on legal issues affecting animals, and has spoken at conferences in Australia and the United States. In 2020, Tess received the International Society for Animal Rights ‘Seeds Awards’ in recognition of her contribution to the emerging field of animal law.
