Lipsa Dash

Dr. Lipsa Dash earned her Ph.D. from Utkal University and is currently pursuing an LL.M. at Lewis & Clark Law School. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law and obtained her B.Sc. LL.B. (IPR Hons.) from the KIIT School of Law.

Dr. Dash has participated in the prestigious Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law, reflecting her deep commitment to animal welfare and rights. Beyond academia, she is a dedicated zoophilist and naturalist who strongly believes in advocating for the voiceless.

Her scholarly interests lie at the intersection of Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, and emerging technologies. As a technophile, she has developed a distinctive research profile by exploring the convergence of technology and intellectual property, while also examining innovative technological solutions for animal protection and welfare.

In recognition of her contributions to legal education and scholarship, Dr. Dash was honored with the “Law Teacher of India – Cyber Law” award by the Indian National Bar Association in 2023.
