Yvonne Gurira-Mushunje is a passionate animal advocate and the founder of Animal Advocates International, a bold initiative working to end animal suffering and promote vegan justice through legal reform and grassroots activism in Zimbabwe. Yvonne holds an LL.M. in animal law from Lewis & Clark Law School’s Center for Animal Law Studies (CALS), where she also served as a 2023 CALS Global Ambassador.

Her work continues to be driven by a deep commitment to dismantling systems of exploitation and building a world where animals are protected, respected, and free.
