Transportation to the Hotel

Transit

The Millenium Hilton hotel is located a few blocks from Pace University at 55 Church Street in Lower Manhattan. The hotel is accessible via public transit from all three local airports: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark International Airport (EWR) and La Guardia Airport (LGA). To plan your trip via transit, visit the MTA website. You will see a TripPlanner function in the top, right-hand menu bar, which allows you to enter your starting and ending addresses and provides detailed instructions including arrival/departure dates and times.

By Car

The Millenium Hilton’s website offers driving directions from each of the airports here. Valet parking at the hotel is $60/day, +$15 for SUVs and does not offer in/out privileges.

Shuttles

NYC Airporter and Super Shuttle operate from all three airports. Shared shuttles are often not the most convenient option, as they make multiple stops. They may be worth considering, however, if you aren’t pressed for time but would prefer door-to-door service over public transit.

Taxi

The average price of a taxi from La Guardia to Lower Manhattan is $45, plus tolls/tip and the flat fare from JFK is $52, plus tolls/tip and $0.50 NYS tax. Taxis from Newark to Manhattan can run $50-$75 plus fees. We recommend only taking official Yellow Cabs while traveling in NYC and not accepting rides offered by others.

Transportation to Manhattan Penthouse (Friday Venue)

Friday Welcome Reception

Manhattan Penthouse, the venue for our Friday Welcome Reception, is located at 80 5th Avenue on the 17th Floor. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to travel from the Millenium Hilton to the Manhattan Penthouse via subway. Please consult Google Maps or the MTA website for detailed travel directions.

Depending on traffic, which can vary greatly throughout the day, it takes approximately the same amount of time to drive to the Friday Welcome Reception venue. For those self-driving, Manhattan Penthouse has an arrangement with Imperial Parking at 7 East 14th Street, located ½ block from the venue. The coat check at Manhattan Penthouse will validate your parking ticket for a 50% discounted parking rate at this lot. Taxis are also an option and readily available outside of the Millenium Hilton.

Walking is also possible, if the weather cooperates and you have a comfortable pair of shoes. It is just under 2 miles from the Millenium Hilton to the Manhattan Penthouse venue—almost a straight shot uptown.
